The simplest method to connect aluminum components - no costly tools needed. All you require is a propane torch and some easy-to-melt soldering rods.

No flux or toxic fumes are necessary for the soldering technique (though you can utilize flux if you think it enhances soldering performance). These soldering rods create a durable bond that is stronger than the material itself and firmly connects both thin and thick items. They offer remarkable corrosion resistance and result in minimal to no distortion of the base material.

Soldering Guidelines:
- Carefully clean the area designated for soldering with a stainless steel brush until it shines. Then heat the area evenly.
- Firmly press the rod against the heated point while continuing to heat it until the rod starts to melt.
- Note: Avoid applying heat directly to the rod as it can become brittle. If you attempt to melt the rod directly, the solder joint could easily break. Remember, melting the rod directly is an improper technique that can lead to brittle solder joints.

Product Characteristics:
- The easy-to-melt soldering rods are premium specialty wires specifically made for welding and soldering aluminum and its alloys. They are also applicable for soldering various non-ferrous metals, excluding stainless steel.
- Recommended for soldering aluminum alloys such as: 1060, 1350, 3003, 3004, 3005, 5005, 5050, 6053, 6061, 6951, 7005 and casting alloys 710.0 and 711.0
- They can be used in applications including loading decks, loading ramps, docks, diamond plates, irrigation lines, engine blocks, gear housings, among others.
- Ideal for small repairs. For repairs that may present a safety concern, we advise replacing the affected components entirely rather than attempting a repair.
