Regardless of prior experience, anyone can weld aluminum without needing expensive equipment. A simple propane torch and basic welding rods are all that's necessary.
Welding instructions:
1. First, ensure the welding area is thoroughly cleaned with a stainless steel brush until it gleams.
2. Next, be sure to heat the area evenly.
3. As you heat, vigorously rub the rod against the heated surface until it begins to melt.
Warning: Never apply heat directly to the rod, as it could crack, and if you do manage to melt the rod directly, the weld will be weak. Remember that melting the rod directly is not the right technique and leads to fragile welds.

- Ideal for minor repairs. If repairs pose a safety risk if not done correctly, we recommend entirely replacing the components instead of attempting repairs.
