If the laser from the fiber optic fault locator appears very bright, yet there are signs of a loose connection when the fiber optic jumper is connected, it may indicate that the red light is not effectively coupling into the fiber and therefore no light is observable at the opposite end. This situation suggests that the ceramic sleeve is defective and needs to be replaced with a new one.
2. Options for do-it-yourself replacements that minimize time and efforts.
3. Compatible with: fiber optic fault locators, optical power meters, PDA red light integrated devices, among others.
4. The majority of ceramic cores utilized in red light pens have a diameter of 7mm. If you are uncertain, it might be beneficial to reach out to the original manufacturer or to buy and test a ceramic package (5mm+7mm). There is only one variant of the metal head. Please verify this aspect before making your purchase.
