Installation Instructions:
1. Link the SDI input interface to the SDI signal source using a coaxial cable.
2. Connect the SDI output to other devices that are compatible with SDI signal input.
3. Turn on the device to start its operation.
Functionality Overview:
1. SDI Distribution Capability: Set up the hardware following the three "Installation Instructions," and the SDI splitter will function as intended. It is compatible with SD-SDI (270Mbps), HD-SDI (1.485Gbps), and full HD 3G-SDI (2.97 Gbps) video formats for distribution.
2. Extension Capability: This unit supports cable lengths up to (Belden-1694A); for SD, the input and output range reaches 400m, for HD it’s up to 200m, and for 3G it is 100m (these values are theoretical; actual distances may differ based on cable quality).
3. Wide Voltage Support: The integrated design accommodates a wide voltage range of DC5V~36V (with a maximum power of 2W).
4. Smart Design: The device employs pure hardware processing for easy plug-and-play functionality and can auto-detect various SDI signals. When a usable SDI signal is detected, the LED indicator lights up green. Conversely, if there is no signal or if the signal is invalid, the LED will turn off, simplifying diagnostics for engineering users.
