1. XS - Kitten: (under 6 months old, around 5 pounds / 2.5 kg)
The soft cat claw caps are made to fit most kittens once they reach 16 weeks (4 months) old. Nonetheless, some kittens might be able to use them as early as 12 weeks (3 months). To determine if the size is suitable, first test a claw cap without applying the adhesive. If it seems too large, refrain from using it. The claw cap should embrace the claw snugly, similar to a glove. For younger kittens, you can trim the bottom of the claw cap to create a better fit on your kitten's claw. Kittens weighing up to approximately 5 pounds / 2.5 kg and/or up to 5 months usually fit into the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (around 6 months old - approximately 6-8 pounds / 2.5-4 kg)
Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size, particularly if they are experiencing rapid growth or belong to larger breeds. Small-sized adult cats commonly wear the small size as well. If your cat seems smaller than an average adult cat, choose the small version.
3. M - Medium: (approximately 9-13 pounds / 4-6 kg)
The majority of medium adult cats generally opt for the medium size.
4. L - Large: (approximately 14 pounds / 6 kg and up)
Large and very large cat breeds typically utilize the large size. For example, Maine Coons are quite large cats and generally necessitate the large size.
