1. XS - Kitten: (under 6 months old, roughly 5 pounds / 2.5 kg)
The gentle cat claw caps are generally suitable for most kittens once they reach about 16 weeks (4 months) of age. Some kittens might be able to use them as early as 12 weeks (3 months). To ensure the right fit, test one claw cap without the adhesive first. If it seems oversized, do not attach it. The cap should fit tightly, similar to a glove. For younger kittens, you can trim the base of the claw cap to help it fit their claws better. Kittens weighing up to around 5 pounds / 2.5 kg and/or near 5 months old typically fit into the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (around 6 months old - approximately 6-8 pounds / 2.5-4 kg)
Some kittens that are about 5 months might need the small size, especially if they are growing quickly or are part of a larger breed. Smaller framed cats usually wear the small size. If your cat looks smaller than a typical adult cat, go for the small size.
3. M - Medium: (approximately 9-13 pounds / 4-6 kg)
Most average-sized adult cats typically use medium.
4. L - Large: (approximately 14 pounds / 6 kg and above)
The large size is for particularly large-framed and hefty breeds. For instance, Maine Coons are quite sizable and generally wear large.
