1. XS - Kitten: (under 6 months old, around 5 pounds / 2.5 kg)
The soft nail covers designed for cats are generally suitable for most kittens once they hit 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens might be able to use them as early as 12 weeks (3 months). To verify, first attempt to fit a nail cover without adhesive. If it seems too loose, refrain from applying the glue. The nail cover should fit securely like a glove. For younger kittens, you might trim the bottom of the nail cover to reduce its size, ensuring a proper fit for your kitten's claws. Kittens weighing up to about 5 pounds / 2.5 kg and/or up to 5 months typically fit the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (around 6 months old - approximately 6-8 pounds / 2.5-4 kg)
Some kittens at 5 months may need the small size, especially if they are growing quickly or belong to larger breeds. Small-sized adult cats frequently require the small size. If your cat seems smaller than the average adult, choose the small size.
3. M - Medium: (approximately 9-13 pounds / 4-6 kg)
Most adult cats of typical size usually need the medium size.
4. L - Large: (about 14 pounds / 6 kg and above)
Very large and giant breeds generally wear the large size. For example, Maine Coons are notably large cats and primarily use the large size.
