1. XS - Kittens: (under 6 months old, approximately 5 pounds / 2.5 kg)
The soft cat claw covers are ideal for most kittens when they reach about 16 weeks (4 months) of age. Some kittens might be ready to use them as soon as 12 weeks (3 months). To determine the size, first try a cap without using adhesive. If it seems oversized, refrain from securing it. The cap should fit snugly, similar to a glove. For younger kittens, the tip of the cap can be trimmed for a more suitable fit for your kitten's claw. Typically, kittens that weigh around 5 pounds / 2.5 kg and/or are 5 months old match the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (approximately 6 months old - around 6-8 pounds / 2.5-4 kg)
Kittens at 5 months may need the small size if they are growing rapidly or belong to larger breeds. Smaller adult cats generally use the small size. If your cat seems smaller than the average adult cat, go for the small size.
3. M - Medium: (around 9-13 pounds / 4-6 kg)
The medium size is commonly worn by most medium-sized adult cats.
4. L - Large: (approximately 14 pounds / 6 kg and greater)
Very large and large breeds necessitate the large size. For example, Maine Coons are quite large cats and typically need the large size.
