1. XS - Kittens: (under 6 months old, roughly 5 pounds / 2.5 kg)
The soft nail caps designed for cats are generally appropriate for most kittens once they turn 16 weeks (4 months) old. Some kittens may actually be fit for use as early as 12 weeks (3 months). To determine the size, first, try a nail cap without securing the adhesive. If it seems too big, refrain from fastening it. The nail cap should fit snugly, akin to how a glove conforms to your hand. For very young kittens, you can trim the base of the nail cap to produce a smaller size for a more appropriate fit on your kittens' nails. Kittens weighing up to about 5 pounds / 2.5 kg and/or 5 months typically match the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (approximately 6 months old - around 6-8 pounds / 2.5-4 kg)
Certain kittens at 5 months may require the small size, particularly if they are growing rapidly or hail from larger breeds. Smaller adult cats frequently use the small size. If your cat seems smaller than the typical adult cat, choose the small size.
3. M - Medium: (approximately 9-13 pounds / 4-6 kg)
The majority of medium-sized adult cats usually fall into the medium category.
4. L - Large: (approximately 14 pounds / 6 kg and above)
Very large and giant breeds utilize the large size. For example, Maine Coons are exceptionally large cats and typically require the large size.
