1. XS - Kitten: (under 6 months old, roughly 2.5 kg / 5 pounds)
The comfortable cat claw caps are typically appropriate for kittens once they are 16 weeks (4 months) of age. However, some kittens may be ready to start using them as early as 12 weeks (3 months). To ensure a proper fit, first test a claw without any adhesive. If it seems too large, do not apply it permanently. The cap should fit securely, similar to a glove. For younger kittens, you can trim the base of the cap for a more suitable fit on your kitten's claw. Kittens weighing up to about 2.5 kg / 5 pounds and/or around 5 months generally fall within the kitten size.
2. S - Small: (approximately 6 months old - around 2.5-4 kg / 6-8 pounds)
Some kittens at 5 months might need the small size if they are growing swiftly or come from larger breeds. Smaller adult cats usually wear the small size. If your cat seems smaller than the average adult, choose the small size.
3. M - Medium: (around 4-6 kg / 9-13 pounds)
Most average-sized adult cats typically utilize the medium size.
4. L - Large: (approximately 6 kg and above / 14 pounds)
Large and very large breed cats require the large size. For example, Maine Coons are quite substantial and generally need the large size.
